Hi,
a while ago we startet the vis server project. Its aim is to supply a topology layout of the batman network. To overcome the problem that every node just knows its very own horizon we designed a vis server which collects vis topology messages from every node and generates the well known dot draw output. This output can be used by various programs to render a topology graphic. I just made some screenshots of our network rendered by olsrs3d (see s3d.berlios.de). You can find them here: https://www.open-mesh.net/batman/vis I will update the pictures once more hosts in Berlin have activated that feature and thus are visible on our topology.

Hi,
I continued improving the vis server. The most obvious enhancement are the calculated ETX values. It is not absolutely correct but sufficient. ;-) I updated the screenshots on our website: https://www.open-mesh.net/batman/vis You may wonder why some links are colored (blue, yellow or red) and some are just grey. The colors represent the link quality of the connection which is based on the sending and receiving average. Naturally the vis server needs the packet count of both sides to calculate it. If it is available the links are colored if not they are just grey.
