[B.A.T.M.A.N.] Master's Thesis on B.A.T.M.A.N routing protocol

Dear Concern,

I am a final year masters student of Tampere University of Technology, Finland and my major is computer networking. Now, i have to start my thesis and B.A.T.M.A.N protocol seems very interesting to me. My supervisior told to work on B.A.T.M.A.N routing protocol by network coding. I would like to ask, does it has enough scope to develop by network code ? and could you please tell me what other area (right topic) of B.A.T.M.A.N is avaible for research or thesis topic.
