Yes, this bug (and the bugfix) was the reason why we created the release 2011.3.1. We hope that all fixes will be included in linux 3.1 or another release in from the 3.1.x stable branch.
There seems to be another problem [1] at the moment which wasn't completely analyzed. Therefore, it is unknown whether this is a real batman-adv problem.
