These are two packets sent one after the other but the second sequence number is not equal to the first + 1500 (payload size)
After looking at the log again I think this issue is due to batctl td not being able to dump all the packets rather than some strange bw_meter behaviour...
clueless again :(
However, let's see if the Ethernet test gives us some more hints.
