The following commit has been merged in the master branch:
commit 6b2536039f653e35c96e7461a7456d2246331462
Author: Linus Lüssing <linus.luessing at c0d3.blue>

batman-adv: Avoid redundant multicast TT entries

If a node signals that it wants all traffic for a specific protocol
family then there is no need to announce individual multicast addresses
    via TT.
