Does anyone have any numbers or a link to some performance metrics of batman-adv on wired interfaces? I have a little project and I want to see how batman-adv will work in place of RSTP for making a ring network (or multiple rings). How close to wire-speed can batman-adv get on 1Gbps full duplex ethernet links. What I'm really looking for is using batman-adv as a SPB alternative providing transparent layer2 connectivity with not only redundant paths, but best paths.
